hi hi. did this a couple weeks ago. just a quick type treatment of a quote i really enjoy, from a book i enjoyed even more.  just a first thought. enjoy.

hahahah subway type, you lose.

o man. so if you've ever ridden the subway before, you will obviously have noticed the perfectly placed helvetica type that directs your every move.  well... someone was not paying attention when they printed this decal!  i don't know if the vector file was screwed up or not, but the letters are all wrong! the o's all look like they are on their side.  the D is a different line weight. the e and a are a different size... it's a mess! and i love it.  the end.

soo cool! these guys made a font by drive a car! enough said. watch the video. and download the font, its really cute.

cat on a cool grass roof

So everyones green, blah blah blah.  While reading some of the beautiful books around the office, I found this picture in one about Berlin.  It's a grass roof...from 1926!  So all you cool cats out there turning green, just remember, it doesn't make you cool to have a grass roof(well it does because it keeps the house cool), but it doesn't make you hip!... it makes you German.

just kidding.  but i thought it was fascinating that we so focused on going green into the future, and looking for new and innovative ideas, when we should slow down and look at the past, i'm sure we'll find some pretty cool shit. like grass roofs

WOOOOO!!! - coffee spills and big thrills!

hmmmm so  my posts are becoming bi-monthly.  not a very strong blog.  but the cup of coffee that i spilled three times today was very strong. count them, three times.  twice in the subway... which led to no one sitting next to me...because no one wanted coffee spilt on them. lame.  nothing like a little coffee stain to start off a good day.

anyways.  super excited about a great little magazine i was just handed. seriously its so small 4"x7"  but its got a big name, WOOOOO <

with a strong list of interviewees,  the closing is Zach Galifianakis. 

"okay. as a comedian do you find yourself sitting on the edge of your bed pausing between socks?"

"hmmm...this is a great question and i don't even understand it. but yes. i think i know what you mean and the answer is yes."

his quick fire interview was by no means the most profound, but i definitely laughed out loud while reading.
