two weeks. im back.

after being away from my desk for two weeks, there is much to be written about. enduring a photo shoot last week was one of the most eye opening experiences to date. in the last week of preparation of clothing and concept, an organized wave of chaos came over the office. so much to get ready before actually arriving on set. but once we arrived... i saw that creativity comes to fruition in all shapes and sizes on the set, and it was inspiring and intimidating to say the least. from the props stylist to the art director to the photographer, each person brought their own talents to produce an amazingly cohesive outcome. not to mention an entire crew that operated seamlessly, which allowed for each shot to be taken and executed perfectly.

i found it most interesting to watch the art director see her ideas come to life. being on the outside of her brain, everything seemed kind of jumbled. but once i saw all the polaroids of the chosen shots, it all made sense. such a cool moment to be able to understand the story that was to be read through the images.
